The Air Tractor AT-504 is both a spraying aircraft and an excellent platform for aerial training. With two seats next to each other in the cabin it allows training new pilots in turboprop. Both instructor and student have full flight controls and almost the same cockpit view and perspective.

Equipped with a Pratt & Whitney PT6-34AG engine, the AT-504 has a working speed equal to the A-502B. Payload capacity is 475 gallons. Novice turboprop pilots can experience similar flight performance when moving from the A-504 to the A-502B or other similar size turboprop agricultural aircraft.
